Question and Answer with my Dad

C: What’s your favorite Bible verse?

K: “If we confess our sins, he is and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” -1 John 1:9

C: What’s your favorite color?

K: Skyline Blue, the color of my first vehicle.

C: Why haven’t you taken me camping in the past 10 years?

K: Well, you have been in school, and you were always busy with sports. You grew out of it. Camping was my favorite thing for us to do. It was just you and I. We could do what we wanted, and we had a lot of fun. That’s why I wanted a daughter, for the father and daughter memories.

C: What is your favorite TV Show?

K: The Andy Griffith Show

C: Why do you like duck hunting?

K: It’s not the hunting part; it’s the getting out in a flooded field and watching the sunrise and hearing the earth wake up in the morning. I love to view all of God’s creations.

C: Beach or Mountains?

K: Beach

C: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

K: Alaska, I want to see Aurora Borealis.

C: Do you like my Alicia Keys’ performances?

K: No, I don’t like Alicia Keys.

C: Well, moving right along, what was your first car?

K: a K-5 Chevrolet Blazer

C: In the garden, what is your favorite vegetable to plant?

K: Tomatoes, that’s why I enter them in the county fair. My father always planted tomatoes.

C: What’s your favorite memory of us?

K: I have a lot of favorite memories. Besides camping, I would probably say Homecoming of your junior year when you were the Class Attendant. I escorted you in the school assembly, I drove the car in the parade and we were presented together that night on the football field. I loved being by your side on that very important and memorable day. It was such an honor. I was so proud of you, and I will never forget that day.
